Mila Sweater - FREE Pattern
One of the many titles I have is Mother, Mom, Momma, Mommy. It may not be the title I first identify myself as but it's one that I am so very proud of. My two sweet daughters are just as passionate about yarn as I am. They both love rolling out balls of yarn and 'untangling' it (really just tangling more) but I'll let them think that.
My sweet baby Saige is 6 months old and the sweltering heat of southern Ontario here in Canada is breathtaking in August - and not in a good way. Who would ever think of putting their child in anything knit at this time of the year? Definitely not me, but I can dream of cool fall weather, blessing our sunburnt (now crispy) skin, come September. I don't know what September will entirely look like during this pandemic but I do know one thing, cooler days are coming and this sweet babe of mine will need a few handmade knits.

Welcome Mila Sweater! This crochet pattern is available in sizes 0-3 Months, 3-6 Months, 6-12 Months, 1-2 Years, 3-4 Years.
I absolutely love this yarn - I would make everything using it if I could. Lionbrand Jeans is amazing. It has a great weight to it but is soft and light making the flowy peplum area drape to perfection! And to top it off this size 6-12 months size used 1 ball. Yep 1 ball, it has so many yards in each ball that it seems to go on forever. I also fell in love with this colourway Topstitch. I think it's the perfect blend of rusty orange and ugly mustard yellow.

Now I would say this one is as beginner friendly but it really only uses dc and sc stitches with chains so I think anyone can master this as long as you stick with the pattern. It's a quick project using a 5.5 mm hook, the yoke and waistband area construct very quickly.
I hope you find everything helpful and that you enjoy working up this design. I’m so grateful for your feedback and truly appreciate every like, share, and comment!
