Baby Cowboy Boots - FREE Pattern

Updated: Jun 7, 2020

Get that classic cowboy boot look for baby girl or boy with a modern simple stunning design. The pattern is fit for a newborn baby or made as decor for a country western themed nursery. Scroll down for the free pattern.

I had the pleasure of using Knit Picks CotLin (70% Tanguis Cotton, 30% Linen) yarn for this project.  It’s soft and light yet sturdy for a standing cowboy boot and a dream to work with.  I love the stitch definition and how the stars turned out using this yarn to really make the finishing touch unique. It’s a thinner DK weight yarn so it worked up well using US 4 DPNs. It comes in a variety of colours to suit any baby, either boy or girl, or any nursery theme. You can check out all the options HERE

This is unfortunately not entirely beginner friendly. There is one tricky step to get the loops at the top of the boots just right but I have included photos on how to do this and I'm confident if you give it a try you will succeed. I hope you find everything helpful and that you enjoy working up this design.  I’m so grateful for your feedback and truly appreciate every like, share, and comment!
